Tuition fees for Spring 2013 and book buyback info

Now that we’ve registered for next semester, a few people have asked me about whether or not we have to opt out  of the benefit plan again.

Nope.  This is done only once per year (and I’ll happily send out another reminder in September).  The reason that this semester may appear to cost a bit more than last semester is due to the deposit that we paid when we applied for the GLS program.

There is a little bit of brightness at the end of the financial tunnel however!  We can sell back many of our books.  They usually only pay about $2 for soft-cover texts, but since we have so many of them, we might get $40 or 5$0 back (plus 2 feet of shelf space). :)  Keep any books that they don’t want this semester, and they might next semester or at the end of summer in prep for LS800 2013.

You can check out the buy-back dates and see which books they’re purchasing on the the bookstore website.
